About BRAZEDC
This non-for-profit Organization was founded in 2003 with the main purpose of training people in the fields of Video Production and Internet Technology. This Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable EDUCATIONAL purposes and is under the Section 501(c)(3).
Our purpose and main goal is to bring in the lowest income youths that are struggling by themselves without any help or compassion.
Our overriding mission objective is to bridge the technological gap and give low-income youth an opportunity to compete in the current competitive economic climate. We will provide participants with motivation to pursue education: information, skills and experience that enable them to function in professional environments, develop career and increase their employability.
We will train, anyone living in New York City without regard for race, color, financial situation, creed, gender, religion, age, national origin or sexual orientation. Once the student completes the education process, he or she will go to the next level and will be part of the group that will train in short film and documentary production. We intend to engage low-income, marginal families and youth through a unique fusion of the cultural arts, media and community organizing to increase their civic knowledge and participation, build their leadership and improve their quality of life. TUITION IS TOTALLY FREE! There is no charge for the classes. All you need is a strong desire to learn a new skill and be willing to commit time and effort to studying the program’s.
